Mastinell is an unprecedented architectural masterpiece, a five-star boutique hotel whose rippled roof mirrors the curves of resting cava bottles. The hotel is a tribute to Antonio Gaudí’s trencadís abstract mosaics technique, and was awarded the gold medal at the International Interior Design Exhibition I Shanghai. Our unique space’s symbiotic relationship with its environment epitomizes the love, rigor, and respect with which we make our wines and cavas.
Savor our restaurant
Our gastronomic space En Rima (literally ‘in rhyme,’ — cava bottles laid horizontally in riddling racks during fermentation), offers an exceptional Km0 culinary experience. A gourmet delight of the best Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine awaits the most appreciative of taste buds.
Cavas and wines
We produce cavas and wines in a unique part of the Penedés region. We age them for long periods to allow them to reach their peak, bearing witness to the embodiment of our history, traditions, and respect for the land.
About us
Mastinell is much more than a winery and a hotel. It is a reference point for wine tourism in the Penedés region, where exceptional wines have been produced since Phoenician times. Penedés was also the first area in Catalonia to industrialize its wine manufacture. Both the hotel and the winery, surrounded by our vineyards, are nestled at the foot of the Sant Pau hill. We offer unique gastronomy, too.
